What we weigh

Every product gets a score from 1 to 10. Performance (40%): how well the product does its job, based on specs and recurring experiences in reviews. Value (25%): what you get for your money compared to the rest of the list. Reliability (20%): warranty, brand reputation and complaints about defects. Ease of use (15%): controls, maintenance and annoyances.

Our sources

Official manufacturer specifications, product pages and review scores from large retailers, plus independent tests by specialist media where available. We do not test products in a lab ourselves. So we never say we tested something, only that we compared it.

How we make money

If you buy through a link on our site, we may receive a small commission from Amazon. You pay nothing extra. It has no influence on the ranking: brands cannot buy a spot.
